Because of their light weight, the Amina panels can be incorporated
into their surroundings in ways that simply aren't possibly with conventional
loudspeakers. At the Ravage Bar in Brugge, Amina used frame-less panels
designed such that they are integrated into the circular lighting truss.
Ravage is another of the many bars that double as night clubs in the evening.
As a result, space is at a major premium. SPL levels are high, but very
importantly need to remain within the Belgian regulation maximum of 96dB.
To be found exceeding this limit very quickly leads to closure by the strict
Belgian authorities. The panels not only give the owners a very unique talking
point, but the sound level generated is perceived as being very high, but
actually measures within regulations.
