One of the more unique applications of Amina technology can be
found at the Patjellis Bar in Eeklo, Belgium. Amina Picture Panel Loudspeakers
were airbrushed by a local artist and are integrated into the overall design
of this establishment.
Patjellis is among the many bars that double as night clubs in the evening,
and thus space is at a major premium. SPL levels are high, but very importantly
need to remain within the Belgian regulation maximum of 96dB. To be found
exceeding this limit very quickly leads to closure by the strict Belgian
authorities. The panels not only give the owners a very unique talking point,
but the sound level generated is perceived as being very high, but actually
measures within regulations.
